VENKI'S(Butter Chicken)

One of the most fascinating and cheap places to hangout for tasty butter chicken near Vishrantwadi (Pune) is a small restaurant called Venki's(not Venkys!!!!). They are famous for their recipe of Punjabi Chicken that suits the North Indian palate. Most visitors of this place are college students and working professionals. This place does not have a very fancy ambience but the tasty food served here surely compensates for it. The cost of the chicken is INR 190 which easily serves two hungry people (and if you are a group of girls then maybe three!!). The butter chicken is more on the sweeter side(Typical Punjabi taste!!). Also if you are visiting the place with a vegetarian friend there is a lot of greens on the menu for the veggie lovers too. Vegetarian lovers  would love a plate of paneer patiayala  which has a variety of three paneers in one dish.
